Gratuity is optional, but appreciated; I don't build it into the price because I don't believe in getting paid for something we haven't earned yet!
This contract states that I, Leon M. Eggers, representing Custom Cuisine Catering promise in good faith that on receipt of monetary deposit by you in the amount of $200 that your date will be reserved for your above named event. The balance can be paid the date of the event or anytime beforehand if desired. If for any reason I cannot execute the above job due to illness, death, etc. the entire amount of any deposits will be returned to you. If for any reason beyond our mutual control (flood, fire, or any other natural or man made catastrophe occurs) we will mutually agree on a course of action and go from there (in other words we agree on a date and/or venue change or whatever else the situation dictates). If we need to make any changes to this contract that is Ok! There are always a few (at least!) things that have to be tweaked...
